Typically new investors get in over their head due to lack of experience, some may have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous contractors and have needed help completing a project or developing a contingent exit strategy. There have been many times that I have assisted in helping connect the right people to get things done. I add value to peoples lives by sharing useful and relevant information to accomplish their goals. I reinforce my own learning and open relationships that lead to opportunity.”

Real Estate Investing Experience – “I have 14 years of real estate experience, which commenced in 2003 when I joined Trammell Crow as in the Property Management division. Subsequent to leaving Trammell Crow, I worked as a General Manager of a small development and multifamily acquisition and management firm. During my 5-year tenure in property management I managed a $100 million + portfolio consisting of more than 400 Class A and Class B units in Northern VA and DC. I now am a Principal and Co-founder of a boutique investment firm focused on real estate. We primarily engage in new construction, fix and flips, and joint venture development engagements in the DC metropolitan region. We currently have 3 ongoing projects, 2 in Petworth (DC) and 1 in Hyattsville (MD). ”

Non-Real Estate Business Experience – “My non-real estate business experience started in 1999 when I was an Entrepreneurship student at the University of Maryland. Subsequent to completing my undergraduate studies I completed my MBA. While doing so, I also held a position as an Operations Manager at a petroleum company. During my tenure at the petroleum firm, I directed all downstream petroleum supply chain, transport, and logistics operations associated with various multi-million dollar public and private sector contracts and infrastructure projects. Upon leaving the petroleum firm, I joined a DC-based compliance firm, where I have served in Executive Management as the Chief Compliance Officer since 2012. I simultaneously have been engaged in starting and growing a management consulting firm HCG with my wife. Through HCG, we have provided independent management consulting and advisory services for local and global firms in a broad range of sectors, including: energy (oil & gas downstream), real estate, international trade, technology, and retail for more than 5 years.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I am a true believer and advocate for group economics. Given this view, I truly believe engagement in groups of like-minded indivduals such as a real estate mastermind, will not only help my business grow, but also will help provide an outlet for me to share some of the knowledge I have gained over the course of more than a decade of being an entrepreneur.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “As a Principal and Co-founder of HCG, I have always made a point to engage in sharing my real estate knowledge with my mentees. For example, on a weekly basis, I speak with my mentees about business activities our company has completed during the course of the week as well as share some of the challenges and triumphs we gained. Further, I have helped my mentees obtain investors and contract structure knowledge by remaining an open book for them to tap into as they grow their own real estate businesses. Lastly, I regularly have my mentees, family and friends over to answer questions about real estate in general and my projects in particular. ”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I attended the last Deal’s Meeting and liked everything I heard. I would like to be around like minded people and develop my own talents and skills. I’ve done well in real estate so far but I want to learn as much as I can and continue to progress. I’ve had an extensive military career exposing me to a vast degree of leadership, approaches and methodologies. Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “The sun is always shining in places you choose to look for it. I’m no stranger to struggle, hard work and continuous improvement. Even in down times, my budget has ALWAYS had a line item for development. Downsizing has enabled me to stack some cash. I also have an IRA account (that I need to rollover).”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “A great leader understands the growth cycle and humble enough to recognize when it is time to involve a network of professionals to “follow” in order to level up. As I’d mentioned, I’m just getting started in real estate and just as most of my personal and professional development investments have been on my own time, my own dime and because I wanted it and not due some mandated requirement that was imposed upon me. I’ve been researching, taking classes, joining organizations and gathering resources to prepare. Having the knowledge is a waste if you’re not applying it and sharing it with others.”

The mortgage business is where I learned about non-owner financing and investing. In 2008 I founded a 503c3 called PEEK which is an acronym for Professionals & Entrepreneurs Empowering Kids. PEEK is a mentoring program and has worked inside the Baltimore City school system conducting workshops with youth on various professional career paths and reinforcing that entrepreneurship is possible.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “This Mastery group seems to be exactly what I need, I am more than willing to sacrifice my time and help out people in the group with anything they may need in exchange for nothing more than the learning experience, I want to work and learn from in the field and go to any length to make sure i do so. This group will also greatly aid in my first investment.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “Short term i want to purchase a multifamily as an owner-occupied investment to both to get me out of my parents house as well as create cashflow. I would also be interested in doing a flip prior to this with the right partner, long term i plan to have a portfolio of investment properties giving me cash flow, single/multi-family, apartments, eventually commercial. I will get there by starting from step one, surrounding myself with people who I can help and can help me learn and grow in the business. ”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “Participating in a small focused group of investors in various stages of development and experience will provide an opportunity to learn different business models and strategies, which will allow us to broaden and deepen our own business. It is particularly advantageous for us join this group as beginners since our business model is still being formed; however, the beginners’ perspective can also be of value to the group. The best way to learn something is to teach it. Also, it’s always helpful to have people who aren’t afraid to ask questions.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “As we are beginners ourselves, we are relatively limited in how we can help others. Of course, there are many aspiring real estate investors that have yet to do their first deal. We’ve been able to help these aspiring investors by discussing their goals and their approach to the business as well as sharing our business model and our experiences. One of the things that we have both found is that experienced investors tell stories of when a deal goes extremely well or they focus on showcasing their seasoned business model. Beginners are not always given a realistic idea of what it takes to get started, the difficulties involved, or the tenacity that is required to get started in this business. This is a problem because it can lead to people giving up when reality doesn’t match the story. We try to help by sharing our experiences in a realistic manner.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I need to focus my time and efforts to achieve the maximum outcomes. I have relied on wholesalers and a limited amount of direct marketing to grow my business in the past, but that has proven to be fairly unsuccessful up to this point. It is also clear to me that there are a lot of people that aspire to succeed in this business but lack the knowledge, work ethic, time and money it takes to get there. I need to surround myself with the people that have those skills and resources. As the mission states, like minded people that hold each other accountable ultimately make one another successful. I gave Jazmyn a set of books on rehab and went through some of the techniques of a successful rehab project. I have also guided her and others on what to look for and what constitutes a good wholesale deal.

How will you get there in your mind? – “Short term is to build my business to the point of replacing current non-real estate related income. Long term is to continue my DC based business and add an equally successful business investing in south Florida. Wealth building plan is to add income producing properties over the next five years.”

I focus on improving efficiencies, reducing cost, and increasing revenues. Prior to that I was a Senior Engineering Manager with Verizon, managing a $60M line of business in the wireless space.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “It was my decision to leave corporate to finalize some personal projects. Now that those have been completed, I can pursue what is a life long dream of investing in commercial real estate.

I was really impressed with the recent Meetup I attended on Sept 6th. It was clear to me that those that attended and hosted the event were very serious about the business of Real Estate and networking. That type of environmental exposure is a key component of success, particularly in this type of business.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I’ve been the President of the Board of Directors for a 290 unit High Rise for over 6 years. In this capacity I actually manage the building manager and the management company at a high level.

I’ve also helped a young woman purchase two properties using the 1031 exchange process, without being compensated for my consultation and deal assessment.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term goal is to add 50 units to my portfolio within the next 6 months. The long term goal is to have at least 1500 units in my commercial real estate portfolio. I plan for each unit to cash flow monthly at an average of $700, which would generate $1M monthly.”

What specific topics/subjects you will SHARE with other mastermind members? – “As a project management professional (PMP) and a certified professional in business process manager, (CpBPM), I’d be happy to share my knowledge as it may apply to real estate. Particularly in the areas of project management, and business process evaluations. I am also knowledgeable in the areas of multi-family underwriting and property management, and would be happy to share what I know in these areas.”

Real Estate is one of the quickest vehicles with the best longevity of wealth achievement and I want to start teaching individuals how to achieve financial while impacting the lives of others in a positive way.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I do not have a story where I have helped another real estate investor without compensation outside of connecting them to a hard money lender or title rep, pointing them to free real estate classes, etc.

I have not gotten to the place where I have helped another real estate investor out without compensation as of yet, but my goal is to train individuals what to do via joint ventures without receiving compensation form them. Walk them through the renovation process from start to finish.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “Short Term investing is to accomplish 3 real estate flips within a year along with purchasing 1 rental.

Within the next ten years I am looking at collectively having 10-20 rental properties producing enough passive income to retire both my brother and I from the work force for good.”

In turn I also hope to be able to share my experience to help someone else avoid potential pitfalls and to navigate their path more easily”

I’ve even allow them to utilize my resources such as contractors and lenders at no charge.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term goal is to build or acquire a rental portfolio that will generate $10-$15k in cash flow after tax.

My long tern goal is to develop 100+ unit complexes to generate $1M + a year.

I will get to short and long term goal by building a network of like minded individual that will help in growing capital and building a relationship with a bank that focuses in real estate development.”

Real Estate Investing Experience – “I bought my first buy and hold rental in the Spring of 2008. A friend of mine new the renovator and wholesaled me the property. The next property I bought was in the Spring of 2010. The same friend renovated the property. Since then I have been interested in making money through real estate. I took classes from Rich Dad Poor Dad and learned about different aspects of Real Estate Investing. I have renovated properties, wholesaled properties, brokered hard money, brokered private money for debt, brokered equity partnerships in renovations, and I am a licensed mortgage loan officer. In August of 2013 I quit my 9-5 job as a dental equipment salesman and have been a full time real estate investor since. ”

Non-Real Estate Business Experience – “I graduated from University of Maryland in Jan of 2014 with a Econ Degree. My first job out of college was selling linen service contracts to restaurants. I reached my ceiling at the company. I hit president’s club my first year, my third year at the company I sold the most profit dollars in the history of the company, fourth year I was on the same pace when I quit to sell Pharmaceutical Goods. I worked in Pharma starting in Fall of 2008 but the company went out of business in Spring of 2009. December of 2009 I started working for Patterson Dental selling dental supplies and equipment. I quit that job in August of 2013 to focus full time with Real Estate Investing.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I am looking to take the next step in my Real Estate Investing career. A group collaboration is something that I could be a strong asset to. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Being in a well rounded group allows everyone to focus on their strengths. When everyone is only working to do what they do best serious growth can occur. I have a young daughter and a pregnant wife. It has never been more important for me to reach my earning potential as it is now. I can be a vital member of your group.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I have many times reviewed deals for people and given them my advice. Usually I end up telling Sellers how to best vet their offers. I have read through contracts and let Sellers know pit falls to look out for.

While being a loan officer I often speak with Realtors who would like to learn more about the investing side. I supply them with my contract,and assignment agreement. I try to help them get up to speed quickly and avoid mishaps that I have learned along the way. I do not ask for compensation for this. Hopefully if they even need help or a partnership along the way they will reach out to me.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “Short term I am going to buy 3 more rental units in 2018 that cash floor greater than $500 each month after PM is paid for. Short term is to have 5 people working with me full or part time on Real Estate Investing side. Another short term goal is to make $1,000,000 gross income in 2018 between real estate investing and CRM Lending where I have my mortgage license.

I will get there by being more active and closing more deals. Being part of your group will help me achieve my objectives faster.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I’ve always had a fascination with real estate but never really knew how to get into it. I see this as an opportunity to create a legacy for my family and eliminate financial concern by networking with like minded individuals and applying the principles learned through this program.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I have yet to do so but I am willing to if the opportunity presents itself.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term investing goal is to learn what I can through a jv. Find some wholesale deals get them under contract and reciprocate that process. Long term is to just stick with the program learn as much as possible and help others along the way. In my mind I’m going to get their by trusting the process learning from someone who’s already accomplished what I’m trying to accomplish and being coachable.”

Non-Real Estate Business Experience – “I have been a full time Realtor for 20 years. My degree is in Medical Technology which I did for several years after college. Years of banking management, loan officer, loan processor and retail experience.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I want to getting into investing for several reason.  The main one is to fund my retirement,  daughter’s current med school, son’s college in a year an half and to develop and build my retail real estate team.

Those are my financial reasons, I also have found often people are in bad situations with their property and it is actually a relief for someone to take it off their hands. I want to help in that way as well.

Then there is the each one teach one. Once I am successfully with investing I want to help others to do the same thing, one on one.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “Haven’t done any investing yet. I am always help fellow realtor with there clients, transaction etc.

I worked as a hostess for one realtor at his client appreciation event to help him get more clients which brings me nothing.

I sat in at closings for other agents for free, helped out with their clients in various way w/o compensation.

I often sit with new agents and teach them how to write a listing agreement, contract and how go to a bpo or cma… with zero compensation… I am a giver and always give back… It who I am.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “I want to do flips for lump sum funds and to invest those funds into buy and hold properties.

Short term goal is to flip a minuim of 4 houses in 2018 and to purchase a 2+ buy and hold properties by the end of 2018.

To develop a team of regular contractors for consistent use.

Long term (5 years) flip average of 24 houses a year and purchase 12 rental properties annually nation wide.

Getting there required doing my first deal and reinvesting the income earned from that transactions. I will need an equity partner or the use of other people funds to complete my first few transactions.

Then just put a system in place to make it a continuous cycle of flipping and purchasing properties.”

What specific topics/subjects you will SHARE with other mastermind members? – “Well I have 20 years of retail real estate experience, I am sure there is a lot I have to offer… general real estate knowledge, things I picked up from my investor clients, negotiation skills and how to successfully get around tons of issues that may arise.

I know how to get around some title issues I imagine that have stop some transaction from closing.”

Non-Real Estate Business Experience – “I have a B.S. in Architecture from Florida A&M University.  Though I am a lover of architecture and design and have the ability to do drawings, I am not a practicing architect.  I have been a construction manager for the past 10 years.  I specialize in Government contracting services as an Owner’s representative.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “Everyone has to start somewhere and this program has presented itself to be the perfect opportunity to get my start in the real estate investment industry.  I was looking into investing on my own and through a mutual friend, I stumbled upon Kiyon Harley who gave me great advice on a property.  I then met Andre Johnson during a housing rehab. Both gentlemen had great business advice and awesome track records, I knew I could learn a lot from them.  I would much rather learn from some one with proven methods and experience than to jump off the boat on my own into untested waters.

I am ready to make changes in my life that will positively affect my professional development and the development of my bank account.  In my experience, it is much more effective to learn skills by participating especially in the building industry.  This  program offers an “earn while you learn” opportunity and I want to go all in.  I have learned so much already in the application process, I cannot wait to get started.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I have not personally been involved in real estate at this point, but I do not shy away from providing information to others such as contact sharing.  I believe in sharing information to those I understand are serious about advancing their goals.  I hope that others are willing to do the same for me.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “Short term:
I would like to get my real estates license in MD.
Invest in my first real estate property through the JV partnership.
Buy my second home in Washington DC.  Rent my current home in MD.
Mostly, I want to start to earn income that will supplement income from my primary career.  Ideally, this supplemental income will lead to being my primary income and I can venture into entrepreneurial ventures that can more than keep the bills paid.

Long Term:
I would like to get a real estates license in DC after I get experience in MD.
I would like to be the primary lead/partner on Fix and Flips throughout the DMV.  I am trying to get to this point by learning, accumulating funds, and partnerships through the Mastermind program.  I want to make a substantial amount money for myself and for others.
I also have a personal goal of completing a Masters in Engineering Program and becoming a professional engineer.  I was accepted into Johns Hopkins University’s Engineering School and I would love to start that program in the Fall of 2018.
I am also partnering with two of my colleagues to start a General Contracting business specializing in Government contracting.  We have already began taking steps toward this goal by gaining experience so we can start an 8A business.”

What specific topics/subjects you will SHARE with other mastermind members? – “I would love to share my knowledge base in construction scheduling and construction estimating.  A common issue I hear about while attending rehabs are cost and schedule overruns.  My experience in construction can be widely utilized to close the projected/actual gaps in these areas.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term wealth building goals include becoming debt free and raising capital for real estate and business investing.

My long-term wealth building goals include building a buy and hold real estate portfolio by obtaining properties at a discount and rehabilitation and renting to tenants. The properties can be residential or commercial.”

What specific topics/subjects you will SHARE with other mastermind members? – “I have established a company that assists businesses with acquiring different sources of financing, including financing for fix and flip real estate deals. I am willing to assist mastermind members in obtaining financing for fix and flip (or fix and hold) real estate deals as a result of my relationship with lenders (for business debt financing and hard money lending), should the need arise and my services prove to be useful and valuable.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I wish to participate in this program because I am looking to take two actions in particular one flip properties for profit and flip properties for buy and hold purposes.  In completing this program, I am looking to generate more leads not just on the investment side of things but for residential sales as well.  I am also looking to streamline and automate my business to establish a strong business model.  In accomplishing the items mentioned above, My long term goal is to stop working in the next 5 – 8 years because I should then be able to generate enough passive income through buy and holds as well as income through residential sales and fix and flips.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I was introduced to another new investor who was curious about how to obtain leads for possible wholesale deals and interested in learning more about investing in general.  I explained several options in seeking leads (direct mail, online marketing, and door knocking.).  I was also able to provide the investor scripts I had obtained previously for absentee owners. In a different scenario, I provided a wholesaler with JV agreements to assist him in receiving payment for working with another wholesaler.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “I explained this in another section, but my short term goal is to begin generating more leads and establish systems to streamline my business for future growth.  With continuous growth I hope not only to fix and flip properties, but to flip and hold to create passive income to build wealth. I would like to generate enough passive income and residential income to replace my salary.”

How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term investing goals are to buy and hold 2-3 residential properties each year that have decent to great cash flow and appreciation for the next 3-5 years. I flipped another property in Baltimore County and made a profit of 11K. Brought a property in Fort Washington, MD with a friend and we flipped it and made over 30K. Brought another property in Baltimore City for 4K, did make any money because of the contractor and the inspector took advantage of my lack of knowledge.”

Non-Real Estate Business Experience – “I worked in Corporate American until 2007, held many leadership positions such as, Director, Executive Marketing Director and Manager in which I supervised a small staff of 10 and maintained a departmental monthly budget.
In 2012 I started my own business as a Notary Signing Agent to close mortgage loans along with being a real estate agent.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I would like to participate in the Mastery Mastermind program at this time to improve my personal and business financial situation.  My primary personal reason is to make enough money to retire my husband from his job of 30 years.  In February 2017 my husband had a heart attack and it’s very difficult for him to work every day but he does it to provide for our family.  I want him to retire and I become the bread winner.”

How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term goal is for me and my cousin to acquire a house by the end of the year, flip it and make a profit.  To accomplish this goal, we need to connect with other investors that have done this many times.

My long term goal is to become a full time real estate investor to retire my husband.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “Over a year I’ve attended the Deals Meetup, and I’ve always wanted to follow a successful leadership that could help me gain more experience with investing in real estate, and think I’ve found it here. I would like to join the Deal Mastery Mastermind program because what I’ve been doing over the years are not working.  I’m looking to learn from a leadership that I’ve not seen before.  Looking to learn from my mistakes, and I know this program can help.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “The company that I’ve serviced by bird dogging for them gave me the experience to take on a leadership role when I had to start a project, and potentially see it through.  I would locate a certain criteria of property to that company’s standard, then search for the comps in the area.  Then possibly submit the offer, and then potentially handle the contractors if the deals were accepted.  I would only get paid if the deal was excepted, but we never got past the counter offer.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “I would like to believe for my short term goal is to eventually close on 5 deals my first year after I’ve acquired the experience.  Long term I’d like to  hold a minimum of 20 properties while developing a property management company. Look for properties that are priced at least 50K below appraised value in that neighborhood.  To achieve this goal I’d like to follow the philosophy of …for every third property I’d hold.  Flip two hold one.”

How will you get there in your mind? – “My short-term goal is to turn my 1 man shop, doing deals inconsistently, into a business that produces 2-5 closed wholesale deals a month. My long-term goal is own plenty of commercial properties, that would produce at least 250K a year net.”

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “After years of working as an employee, I have a strong desire to become my own boss, and have always felt that real estate was the best vehicle to do so.  Not only do I feel that there is great potential to gain wealth, it is a field that has always been of great interest to me.  Since completing my MBA two years ago, I have had no desire to pursue corporate advancements, but rather to tap into my entrepreneurial interests.  I’ve had a great desire to pursue my hearts passion, but with no working experience I felt very nervous to pursue. How will you get there in your mind? – “My short-term goal is to generate income, and introduce myself to the industry through wholesaling. By the six month mark, I would like to flip my first property, and have at least three flipped properties under my belt  at the one year mark. At the one year mark I would like to start looking for good potential properties for buy and hold. Most importantly though I’ve been to some of the events you’ve hosted which have been both informative & entertaining. I’ve even met some “masters” and the community seems great!”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “Most dear to my heart is the role I’ve taken in helping my mother essentially”flip” her own home in NW DC. Back in 2014 I  fell into the role of project manager for the first floor renovation of my family home. This included choosing a contractor, oversee the construction, painstakingly selecting every single element from cabinetry to flooring, to fixtures, appliances to hardware. This was/ is such a great opportunity though since I want to eventually do this for a living!”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “Short term (in the next 1-3yrs):
Become a licensed real estate agent

Why do you wish to participate in Mastermind program – “I have followed your organization for years and have trusted the integrity and direction of the leadership. I have worked in residential sales since 2000, but I now want to solely focus on investor business going forward.  I have accumulated a vast amount of contacts but am ready to mature in this space and increase my business goals with the help of your mastermind group.”

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I have done this more times than one!  With the knowledge I have accumulated over the years, its easy for me to give free advice and resources, without asking for payment.   I have become a resource for a lot of information and I remember the days of when I first started in business and someone was there to help me, and didn’t ask for payment. I always remember that feeling and try to duplicate that and bless someone else with information to help them move forward.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “Short term goals involve researching at least 50 properties per week to deliver to prospective investor buyers.  These deals will in turn be a source of capital to fund any real estate deals I may want to participate in.

Long term goals involve finding real estate deals to buy and hold for my personal portfolio in the MD/DC area.

Wealth building goals include finding and investing into various forex markets, cryptocurrencies, rental properties, and income derived from the short term goals.

Give an example of a way in which you have taken a leadership role in real estate and helped another investor WITHOUT compensation – “I have introduced the concept of Real Estate Investing to several family and friends because I want the best for them. Some have expressed interest but have not really taken a step forward.  However, one person has planted this in her heart! On Thursday, Tonya will be attending her first meet-up with me to start networking and learn this business. I have been sharing meet-up information, youtube channel tutorials and personal materials with her to help her grow along her path.”

What are your short-term and long-term investing and wealth building goals? How will you get there in your mind? – “My short term goals is to set up my marketing, automation and delegation systems and have these in place in the next month.  My long term goals is to make at least $10K a month.  That means an average profit of $5K a month. which means I need 40 leads per deal, 80 leads per month, at least 20 leads per week and 5 leads a day. I plan to build wealth through purchasing and holding commercial properties for long term residual income.  I have no idea how to reach this goal just yet.”

The core belief is that solving problems by identifying the best exit strategy that is a win-win-win for all parties and gets deals done. He is a firm believer in what is know as becoming a transaction engineer expecting each transaction to have 2-3 options for successful completion for all parties involved.

He has been a full time investor for the last three years, completing over 80+ deals in the last 18 months generating well over $250,000 in profits strictly from wholesaling. He started out as an inspector at a one-stop shop during the real estate boom of the early 2000’s quickly soaking up knowledge in every aspect of deal analysis including negotiating techniques, estimating repairs, deal structuring, deal management, client retention, joint venture structuring and anything real estate he could get his hands on.
